Tiny Miss NC Saylor-Claire Herring and Junior Miss NC Madelyn Herring were almost 3 years old and 8 years old when they lost Baby Conner. They have been in pageants since they were toddlers. They have won several local, county, state, and national titles. Along with those titles has come a lot of community service projects, which is their favorite thing in doing pageants. Their latest project is called For The Love Of Baby Conner. That is what they called him. They are trying to raise money and create more awareness about SIDS. They are 7 and 12 years old now and will never forget Baby Conner. He is a bright and shining jewel in their family’s crown. This is something they wanted to do to remember and honor their baby cousin. His mother’s greatest fear was that people would one day forget him. They will make sure that does not happen. #neverforgotten
